Chris Bates is the owner and director of Ultimate Bodyworx. With over 30 years of experience within the motor trade from manufacturer approved vehicles to restoration Chris has a lot of knowledge. He is Jaguar Landrover trained and is where he met Cliff.  Chris also has a love for the old Minis and also built a number of award winning vehicles which some are featured in magazines.  He has an extreme eye for detail and is very conscientious with his work.   

Carrie Milburn is Chris’s girlfriend and the secretary and social media expert. She was previously a Volvo trained service advisor with 10 years motor trade experience herself before becoming a mum. She also obtained apprentice of the year and came runner up in the IMI awards 2 years in a row. She has a love for cars old and new and a keen interest in building the business up and has a good eye for detail.  Customer satisfaction is always a key point for Carrie.  

Cliff Moore is our expert paint specialist. Cliff started painting cars in 1980 and quickly realised he enjoyed being in the motor trade. He is jaguar landrover trained and went onto win painter of the year in 2000.  He then met Chris in 2014 where they both worked at Jaguar Landrover in Aylesbury.  He has outstanding work ethics, it brilliant at his job and is an all round lovely guy. 

Ashlea Bates is our part time admin specialist and is Chris’s daughter.  Ashlea is currently studying English Literature with Media Studies at university and is in her 3rd year. Whilst Ashlea isn’t sure of her future career she’s interested in becoming a swimming teacher or swimming coach and is currently part of her university swim team.  As a teenager she also used to swim for Buckinghamshire county.  She’s a wonderful member of our team.   

Kacper Oleksa is our finance executive and is Ashlea’s boyfriend.  He is currently studying Accounting with Finance and is in his third year of his course. He wants to be an accountant/finance manager when he has completed his course and has lots of ambition. He recently got a first in his tax exam which is the highest grade so we have lots of faith in him. He is a lovely member to have as part of our team. 

Ella Jenkins is our apprentice in the making and is Carrie's daughter.  She is in year 3 at school and has a love for being creative. She has some wonderful ideas and loves getting involved in all the dirty work.  Hopefully she will be our future painter or panel beater.  She’s definitely a joy to have in the workshop. 

Paisley and Bella. These wonderful girls are our workshop mascots. Paisley the Labrador is 5 and Bella the cockapoo is 2. They are both very friendly and loveable and love a good old fuss.
